My passion is ensuring that technology has a strong positive impact on teaching and learning. Google for Education and the Ecosystem around it has made this a reality and I am proud of the dedicated team at Vitalize that have delivered real impact to schools and colleges all over the UK.
With over 20 year’s experience of managing an IT business, my role is to support our growing team of Digital Trainers at Vitalize to continue to excel and deliver significant value
Head of Digital Training
I have worked as teacher in both the secondary and FE education sector for the last 33 years. Along with my teaching role I have had responsibility for the introduction and use of IT to support teaching and learning across the curriculum.
As e-learning coordinator my role has been to support curriculum areas in their transition from a more traditional teaching format to the use of a blended learning approach.
With our experience and passion Vitalize has the knowledge, skill and ability to safely and effectively support your move to a blended learning experience.
Head of Solutions
I have been working in the Education Technology sector for 18 years, and have worked in Colleges, Secondary and Primary Schools on delivering, maintaining and supporting their digital infrastructure using every major technology that has been available at that time.
From the moment I began using Google for Education and Chromebooks, I realised that these were the tools that education settings have been crying out for. Tools that can have a real impact on the day to day teaching and learning and school management. Tools that just work. Tools that can save time, effort, money and frustration.
With these tools and expertise Vitalize can provide, I know we can help transform your educational setting to be ready for the cloud first future of digital technology.
I have many years of experience in post-16 education. I've managed and taught in secondary schools, further and higher education, and served at home and abroad as an education and training officer in the Royal Army Educational Corps.
More recently, I have worked as a Quality Manager. Duties included managing the self-assessment and business improvement planning process, undertaking observations of teaching, learning and assessment. Ofsted planning remains central.
I also worked nationally, with the Education and Training Foundation, to promote and develop outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
